Hannah started training in 1987 at the age of 7 and hasn't looked back since, 20 years at the Portsmouth Honbu dojo with Sensei Mick Dewey as her instructor.She first competed with the Seku squad at the age of 16 at the London Open and has continued to represent Seku as part of the squad to this date. In 2006 she moved to Cornwall to be with her fiancee and joined Saltash Karate Club.

Jim began training in Feb '95 and took his first grading with Swanda Karate on 26/7/95. In '96 after the club closed Jim trained with Sensei Shaun Eglinton and graded upto 1st kyu with Seku.In 2001 Jim continued his trainig with Sensei Hollister and Swanda gaining his Shodan and Nidan. 2008 saw Saltash KC move to Seku and Jim gaining his Sandan. Jim continues to train hard and is now an Assistant Instructor . 


Robert (Bob) Hughes 3rd dan

As a youth Bob studied Kendo grading up to 1st kyu. From '83 - '86 Bob studied Hiken Kemo karate gaining purple belt. In 1992 Bob completed an Aikido based Home Offfice Control and Restraint Instructors course.  Bob has now been with us since 2000 and continues his training as an Assistant Instructor .

Jason has been training since 2004 and in 2008 was selected to train with the Seku Senior Squad. Since then he has competed in the 2008 JSKA World Championships and the 2009 SKDUN World Championships in Hungary.

Lee Wilkinson 2nd dan

Grading dates : Shodan 4/4/93

                       Nidan 28/1/01

Lee began training in 1987 with Bujinkai Karate aged 10yrs gaining his shodan just before his 16th birthday. Lee was a consistant member of the Bujinkai Junior squad competing in many tournaments throughout the country. Towards the end of '94 Lee gave Karate a break but retuned in 2000 with Swanda gaining his nidan in 2001. Also in that year Lee was selected onto the FEKO squad and competed successfully at  various tournaments and during this time Lee was selected  for the 2001 WKC World Championships. Due to work commitments Lee again packed away his dogi but returned again in 2009. In this year Lee was selected onto the Seku squad to represent at the 2009 SKDUN World Championships.
